Just FYI. I'm much better at naming streets and characters (although omfg, my mad character-naming skillz seem to have deserted me!!! I used to write new characters just because I came up with cool names! Now I cannot even give preexisting characters cool names. D:)

I have 9725 words written. \o/
Since February 3rd, with three days whose combined word count was zero. \o/\o/\o/

My mom thinks I don't update my lj enough. /o\

In those nearly 10000 words, Gina has:

met a boy;
been on a lunch date she didn't quite realize was a date;
been kissed;
had a small panic attack;
made a new friend;
received some excellent advice from said new friend;
received essentially the same advice from MJ;
gone to see the boy again;
made another new friend;
spilled her guts about her tragic past;
decided to take a mental health day, or at least an afternoon;
shown off her nifty gloomy apartment (which the boy dubbed Dungeon Westbrook);
gotten a little ahead of herself with this whole making out thing;
cried;
washed the boy's shirt because she and her eye makeup cried all over it;
found out some little things about the boy's life;
annoyed MJ, but failed to scandalize him;
gotten a little ahead of herself with this whole sex thing;
dozed off;
made a brief excursion of her own while the boy went back to his apartment to get some stuff;
listened to a bit of dirty talk;
remembered suddenly that she's supposed to have dinner with her grandma;
dressed while her grandmother interrogated her through the bedroom door;
had a nerve-wracking dinner full of awkward moments;
had yet another small freakout;
received Grandma's fairly overt blessing;
made her way home.

And all that, except for the initial meeting, in two days. My timeline is going to need some pretty intense work when I finally get to the editing part of this thing.

And now I sleep. Mmm sleep.

Ahaha, maybe our shared musical tastes have rubbed off on your students and you will run into a couple of them. You would get so many cool points for that.

I can't even imagine a universe where they won't be playing somewhere closer to me, seriously. I just wish they'd hurry up and announce the rest of the dates!

The reason most people aren't interested is because there's essentially no context for the stuff I wind up posting about my Writing Process and shit.
