sofiaviolet: drawing of three violets and three leaves (Default)

No obligation to give me stuff! Or even to read this post, which is why I stuck it behind a cut. :)

  1. Candles. While I like pretty much all kinds of candles, I get the most mileage out of unscented candles in simple shapes and solid colors. And relatedly, votive candle holders. I have a few clear ones, but could use more. I'd also love some colored or patterned votive holders.

  2. Rosaries. I don't so much use them in prayer as keep them all around my altar, but I guess this is something about growing up Catholic that's stuck with me.

  3. Stationery. Particularly pens. My favorite kind are gel; I get a lot of use out of plain blue and black ink but my inner tinyfemme loves the sparkly ones and weird colors and shit.

  4. Socks and tights. My love of wacky, colorful, and just plain interesting legwear knows few bounds.

  5. Collar tips, buttons, patches. For the buttons, I have two coats whose buttons could stand replacing: lavender/purple plaid coat requiring 8 one-inch buttons (original buttons were lovely but one is missing), and royal purple coat requiring 10 one-inch or slightly smaller buttons (original buttons are kind of ugly).

  6. Gift certificates. Boston spas with good T access, Second Time Around, Sephora, Amazon, iTunes, Etsy...

My Amazon wishlist has more specific stuff on it, if that's helpful.

My current address is available in an access-locked post. If you can't see it, you can email me at sofiaviolet@sofiaviolet.com or send me a private message.

If you'd like to share your wishlist with me, you can comment here (where your comment will be public), on my holiday card post (where your comment will be screened), or you can send me an email or private message. [personal profile] marina is creating a public list of wishlists, if you'd like to check it out and/or tell her about yours.

Just a button thought: If you're going back to the Crescent City, Promenade Fabrics on St. Charles near Zea and Hoshun has a stunning (and expensive!) button collection. I'm making a pilgrimage to replace the buttons on my blazer because I can.

Oh, duh. Y'all have Windsor Button in Boston. That's even better! I've always drooled over that store. If you go, tell me how it is?
