• Happy birthday to kisingchaos9 and ladysorka!!!!

• I have completed my take-home midterm for Gender & Society. I think I accidentally went over the time limit, but that's just what happens with me (at least when I manage to focus on something).

• Directly related to the above, I'm stimulated again with regard to that semi-academic bandom thing I said I was going to write. I'll jot down my thoughts over the next few days, try to give it some structure.

• Note to self: "brb, South Station at ass crack of dawn."

• MBTA trip planner hates me. :(

• As a result, I'm going to actually go to South Station at the ass crack of dawn tomorrow, because I need to see what time I can get there by. Then I will go to campus and hang around the library until class. \o/ I am insanely devoted.

• Or perhaps just insane. Even more insane than you're probably thinking. All shall be revealed in due course. *mysterious*

Do you happen to know if anyone will have a car or somesuch where I can leave a bag with clothes for the next day and a pen and notebook so I don't show up for class totally unprepared? If not I'll figure something out, but I might as well ask.

South Station is AMAZING at the crack of dawn. In all seriousness, it's one of my favorite places to be at that hour.

Cause there's like...traffic and commuters and stuff, but they come in a gentle, calming trickle and the entire place just feels kinda groggy and serene and relaxing. Such that the bustle feels kind of comfortable and understated rather than remeniscent of a pack of scurrying rats.

I used to actually just kind of go there really early in the morning for no reason and just sit around and watch people. It's cathartic.

So anyway...I hope it's an enjoyable trip :D

Also, I hear you on the relaxing thing. Last year I used to just hop on the subway with my iPod anytime I needed to get away and just ride around until I felt okay again.

Your school has lockers for off'-campus students or so your brother
said. Maybe you could leave whatever you need to there before
you leave campus the day before wherever you're heading.
