Internets! I am supposed to write a little blurb about myself that will be sent out to the entire library in the form of a "look! shiny new student employee" email. Tell me what I should include? EDIT: Or you can suggest things for me to include in my profile, in the same area as that quote from hagiologic.

Why not concerts? Don't mention the really fringe bands, but some are mainstream. Or don't mention either names or genre, just concerts. Also don't forget the creative parts: writes (poetry sounds quite respectable; don't get too specific), makes jewelry, paints. No one says hobbies have to be museum worthy. Your skills are definitely better than "average".

I put in local theater/dance instead, without specifics. That is a) true, b) more true since most of My Bands haven't been touring, and c) sounds awesome.
