Best of 2009
December 5th: Night out.
Okay, so. I have had a lot of really good nights out. And in, for that matter. So fuck that "best" shit - I cannot choose.
December 6th: Workshop or conference.
Uh. MJ or TIC. It's not like I go to that many conferences. Both were awesome, but for different reasons.

Went to Marblehead with
swallow_soma yesterday. Got to see ze do the statue thing, which was cool. The weather was appalling, though. A couldn't statue after lunch because of the rain and high winds.
I had packed a jewelry-making kit and, in the absence of anything else to do, I made four pendants and two components. I might have made more, except that I was working in wacky conditions:
* I was standing on the sidewalk, working without a surface to rest things on.
* It was 47 degrees F.
* I was wearing fingerless gloves.
* I manipulate wire with my fingers unless I really need to do otherwise.
So as you can see, it was slow going, between the numb fingertips, the less-malleable wire, and the having to fish my pliers out of my coat pockets whenever I needed to use them.
I also got to use spray paint for the first time, to touch up A's tip bucket. In retrospect, I should have taken off my new coat before painting, but no damage done.
***
Today, Ellie and I will be doing stuff. People will be flyering Bazaar Bizarre, so we'll take a shift at that. And we might go to H&M, because she needs clothes.
I once had to take my glasses off to get a former professor to recognize me. o_O
