We're worried about Turbo.

Who is, by the way, our Jack Russell of about eight or nine years.
Lately (as in the past two months, more frequently as it goes on), Turbo has been having trouble standing up. Most of the time, he doesn't have any difficulty, but sometimes he just scrabbles like his back legs can't hold him. He's pretty fat but that probably isn't it because he usually can stand up just fine. Hugh thinks he might be having little strokes.
:(
Mom and I have tried to lift his rear up while he tries to stand, but he just falls down. It's like his legs can't hold him.
Does anyone have any idea what's wrong?
