Thursday night: a very large group of fangirls - I think there were 13 or 14 of us - had dinner at Cheesecake Factory. It was awesome. Afterwards, I led Acadia to Shaws for booze and mixers.

Friday: Went to the Leverage panel and volunteered to run a flashfic comm here on Dreamwidth. I am soliciting comm username suggestions, because otherwise I'm just going to call it leverage_flashfic or something.

Then I went to the fannish diaspora panel, and then got lunch with [personal profile] queue and various other people. P.F. Chang's - not Five Happiness (which only my New Orleans peeps will probably understand), but pretty good, actually. Also, pepper steak? Why have I never ordered this before? It has vegetables that I eat.

And then I sat around in the consuite until Slash and Sexual Identity, which was awesome. I am hoping someone took some notes because that was a good discussion.

After that, I attached myself to a group of fangirls I didn't know and we got dinner at the food court nearby. After returning to the hotel, I tried to do some awesome makeup to go with my dress but my extremely limited eye makeup mojo had deserted me. I poked myself so many times with the mascara brush...

We had some technical difficulties at the start of the vid show but they got resolved. Excellent line-up this year.

I danced perhaps a bit too much at the dance party, and despite a serious effort to drink all the water, I woke up with a terrible headache. But, omg. They had a good playlist, with just enough songs I didn't actually care about that I could take water breaks.

Saturday: Slept late, mainly because of the headache. Which means I missed RPF and Ladies, Please! Got an early lunch at the food court with a big group, then went back in time for bandom, One True Fics, Blurring Gender Lines, and threesomes. In between those last two, I checked on the raffle and discovered that I had won a DivaCup. (I don't need to retire my current one just yet, so I will just hang onto the new one until I require its services.)

For dinner, [personal profile] solarcat led a group to Fire and Ice. They're pretty awesome about allergies, although I would not want to go back at a busy time - waaaaaaaay too overstimulating, trying to get at the raw ingredients past/around other diners, etc.

I'd brought a cute shirt for Jacque's but I wound up keeping my Slutcracker tee on instead. I love drag queens so much.

After that, a room party in which we watched Aspen Extreme (narrated by [personal profile] omphale due to bad sound quality, and for maximum hilarity). It is a terrible movie but it was a good viewing experience.

Sunday: slept late again, because tired. Got lunch at Maria's Taqueria, hung out in [personal profile] queue and [personal profile] spuffyduds's room for a while, and then came home. Took a long nap; still tired.
