Bits and pieces

sofiavioletGiant centipede thing in my room this morning. It disappeared under my dresser before I found a shoe to kill it with. Ick. Anyone know if this is something I should legitimately be worried about (infestation, centipedes secretly carry zombie virus, IDK)?
Ate lunch in the presence of a bunch of cricket fans who had a large screen set up in the student center. No idea who was playing (between glare and giant pillars, I could barely see the screen well enough to figure out that it was cricket), but all the students seemed super-happy with what was going on.
I harbor an irrational resentment of the class right before The Networked Society. Basically I hate them because they prevent me from using the classroom as a quiet place to chill and make serious use of teh internets. This is a stupid reason to be annoyed at them but I am still annoyed. Ah well.
