My wishlist, 2010 edition.

Step One
Make a post to your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything that you truly want. Include some kind of contact information and some version of these guidelines.
Step Two
Look around your circle/network/holiday_wishes/random journals/Latest Things for other people's wishlists. If you see a wish you want to and are able to grant, do it.
- I collect Hello Kitty. Other Sanrio characters also welcome.
- Pins, particularly activism-related and nerdy ones.
- Nifty/unusual rosaries, including broken/damaged ones. Note that these will be worn as jewelry/placed in my room as decor/refashioned into other stuff, not used for religious purposes.
- Craft supplies. For me, this includes beads, small found objects, etc. for making jewelry, paint (I know my way around acrylics but might like to try oils), and pretty fluffy fiber that I can spin.
- More of BPAL's Blood Rose. I had a bottle and now it is lost. :(
- Socks and tights. Fun socks and tights.
- Ties. Especially ties for short people; I can awear ties as belts but I would also like some that I can wear around the intended body part.
- Books, especially the ones I want to use when I write my giant senior thingy of doom on the status of free women of color in New Orleans, beginning around the Louisiana Purchase and continuing until I hit a page limit. Check the wishlist below for specific books or use your best judgement.
- Gift cards for Ikea, Rosaline's Spa, Fire Mountain Gems, and bookstores.
- Amazon universal wishlist contains specific items that would fulfill some of the above requests and may also be useful in demonstrating my tastes.

I think I have been doing pretty well with spotting other people's wishlists, but if you think I might have missed yours, link me!

Date: 2010-11-26 23:26 (UTC)(Oh man, speaking of - we have a button collection at work that no one has processed yet. I ought to volunteer to do that this spring. I've never processed anything that unusual before, and it would be a cool thing to highlight on the website.)

Date: 2010-11-27 15:29 (UTC)Here is a list of the buttons I've got (and could send):
"Feminists are everywhere"
a plaid button that doesn't say anything
two Ani Difranco buttons
one or two other general progressive buttons
I just noticed that my "my body, my rules" button is missing now. :(
