Dressing my best!

So, here's the thing. I'm going to put together five outfits (for Dress Your Best Week), plus an extra outfit or two to account for Boston's fickle weather.

But I can't work the timer on my camera to save my life (well, I can work the timer, but I can't get decent photos with it), so the next time that A) I'm awake, B) Ellie is home, and C) it's sunny outside, I'll get her to take pictures of all the outfits.

And I'll stick all the photos and all the fashion meta in one post, so that nobody will hate me for spamming them. :D?

In the meantime, the prep! My list of five body parts, and the types of outfits I want to construct...

2. Breasts.
3. Waist.
4. Shoulders.
5. Eyes.

outfit categories
1. Concerts.
2. Work.
3. Evenings out.
4. Class.
5. So, hey, I never wear this...
6. Oh shit, it's really hot.
7. Oh shit, it's really cold.

And I plan to include my three things from my intro post at style_salon in the outfits.

Yeah, living in a weird northeastern city requires ATTACK OF THE UNSEASONABLE WEATHER! outfits. It's been freakishly cold and windy the past two days. And we'd just put all our winter clothes in the storage trunk...

Ugh. Yeah, at least I don't have to come up with warm enough clothes after the seasonal wardrobe swap - there just isn't space for us to actually store clothes seasonally.

So far, a significant trend seems to be plaid. Plaid and skirts.

I really need to update my warddrobe at some point. There comes a time when t-shirts and jeans are not enough! (Though quite possibly I can stave off that time until after more grad school.)

Possibly. :) I have hit that point in undergrad, though.
