Ow my toes.

So I wore my really light grey pants yesterday, and with them my awesome spectator flats.
On a normal day, that would have been fine. Yesterday was not a normal day.
I walked from the library to the bus stop, from Kenmore to Newbury Street (I got socks at Urban Outfitters! and other stuff, but not a coat, which is what I was looking for), and from Newbury Street back to campus. About a mile or so total, based on googlemaps estimates.
After the queermosexual club meeting, a large group of us walked from campus to Berryline (a little under a mile, I'd guess, seeing as we walked through the Fens).
I have blisters on my toes now. >:(

I have been going around and adding people on Dreamwidth - people I've seen around in various contexts (generally either fandom or irc). So if you're wondering where I came from: there is your answer.

Today at work I dusted some display cases. Well, one and a half, because I only had half an hour at the end of the day, and they were really dirty. I am still suffering the respiratory effects. When I sneeze, my snot is grey. :\

Date: 2009-09-29 18:50 (UTC)Second in command gave me a furniture dusting cloth - specially treated to hold dust and apparently washable (and holy crap did it need it after I was done with the cases). No mask necessary.
And then I discovered that one of the locks on a display case was broken, and rather visibly so... *sigh*
I can't decide if my job would make a great show, or if I just tell myself that so I don't go crazy.
