Have been rooting through my old notebooks and papers.
So far, I have found:
• probably the most detailed notes still in existence on the fanfic which eventually spawned Auriel (man I wish I had saved those files)
• a lot of awful poetry (and a few salvageable lines)
• old sketchbooks with shitty calligraphy and better art than I would've expected
• notes from the earliest concepts of a set-in-this-world novel I wanted to write (characters have since been absorbed into Auriel)
• three drafts of the first few pages of the Smallville fic I started during the, like, five minutes I was in that fandom (complete with Mary Sue who was a novelist, haha, and a model too WTF?)
• some of the earliest maps of Auriel
Now the papers I mailed home need to get here. >,< That box of stuff contains awesome/awesomely bad stuff from Auriel's early days. Maybe I will scan some of this stuff, just for lulz.

Date: 2007-05-15 10:00 (UTC)I wrote Mary Sues too! Ugh, the pain of being new in the fandom. I found a couple of diary entries back when I was young, and there was once I Mary Sued myself (*strangles air*) into a love triangle between Oliver Wood and Draco Malfoy.
I laughed till I cried, I tell ya.
