my standard attire is a boy beater and jeans with warmer stuff thrown on top as needed. if i were packing for three weeks this is what i'd bring:
two - three short sleeve/sleeveless shirts two-three long sleeved shirts 1-2 sweaters or sweatshirts or light jackets 2-3 pairs pants at least one pair jeans 1-2 casual skirts that can be dressed up if need be 1 nice shirt any event specific outfits. for example xmas day dinner is always super dressy for my family. 2 pairs comfy shoes enough underwear for a week 2-3 pairs of long socks/tights
traveling clothes count towards totals. i usually bring too much, but i'm okay with having an extra outfit if that gives me a choice. the weather in NOLA is yo-yoing like mad right now. you can always take layers off.
