Yeah. To say nothing of the clear and obvious lack of thought and testing! I suspect the problem is going to be addressed through social innovations instead of technical ones, though, since LJ shows no sign of retracting the feature. I've already seen huge numbers of people making public statements about their projected use of Facebook/Twitter crossposting, including several who stated that crossposting a comment from their journal to your Facebook/Twitter was a bannable offense.
