sofiavioletI painted for a while on Sunday, which was awesome. And today I decided to use the time I have between class and work to wander through the art supply place near campus. On the way over there, I was struck by an idea that necessitated buying some shades of blue I don't already own and the colors required to produce my own skin tone. And while I was there I wound up getting other stuff, too. Brushes, brush cleaner, gesso, green paint, iridescent paint, canvases.
Ideas. So many ideas. I need more time in my day. I think I know what I'm doing with my afternoon, though. :D And spring break is next week! :D I will still have to work and go to Dress For Success, but I enjoy both of those.
Related to spring break: I have figured out why this semester is more stressful than most. I have too many different things to do. Classes every day plus work three days a week plus service-learning is too much to remember.
Related to creative shenanigans: Look, I will make you something!. I won't even ask you to repost the meme if you don't want.
My poetry workshop was canceled yesterday, which made me sadface a lot. I had already printed out the four poems, but they're not exactly done yet. So I emailed my class and am asking them to decide for me. So far I have one vote for picking one of them myself (with an admission that letting the class pick would be cool), one vote for bringing them all and letting the class decide, and one for bringing them all unless they're long. And given that I have all the copies already, they get all of them. :D
I need to get lunch in the near future, but I am stuck here until Random Other Library Patron returns, since I am watching her laptop. Random Other Library Patron, you are a more trusting soul than I.
