Dropped that theater course I was complaining about.
Wednesday, January 9th, 2008 18:22I replaced it with a linguistics course that meets at exactly the same time. Language and Gender. The recommended prereq is LINU150, which I took as as an English course last fall.
I wanted to replace it with a fiction course - like, writing fiction, not reading it. (Taught by a different dude that that creative writing class I complained about so much.) But there were no more seats left (the page that lists that info seems to be updated just once a day, so it lied to me).
In other news:
The weather this week is ridiculous. January in Boston is not supposed to feel like springtime.
I love my Vienna/Prague/Budapest class. Today Robinson showed up pictures from his trip over the summer and lectured on architecture mostly, but also some history.
I want to move to one of those three cities now. Or, failing that, take a long visit to look at all the pretty buildings. (I will not, however, drink beer, because I don’t like beer.)
Tomorrow I have to wake up very early to be at student health by 8:20. But my only class is Italian! At 10:20 I can go home! I plan to spend the afternoon writing, but chances are I’ll also take a nap.
