In particular, OpenID users can now join communities on Dreamwidth (in order to read and comment on locked entries - OpenID accounts still cannot make new posts) and it's now much easier to link to OpenID users (<user name="sofiaviolet.livejournal.com"> = ![[identity profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/openid.png)
sofiaviolet.livejournal.com) (although it doesn't crosspost properly). Previously one had to link to <user name="ext_2942">.
Also recently implemented was site search. It's currently restricted to paid accounts - paid journal holders can search their own journals, and any user can search the contents of a paid community. Before expanding the capabilities of search any further, Dreamwidth wants feedback on how you want site search to work.
Reading filters are expected by the next code push (omfgyay!).
