NaNoWriMo, days 16 and 17
90% of what I'm writing is dialogue. Or porn. Sometimes both. And absolutely nothing is in the right order. /o\
Hugh had the second knee operation today. They kept him overnight for various reasons, although he's doing well. I wrote about 2500 words in a desperate attempt to kill time. Mom keeps thanking me for dealing with him. What else am I supposed to do?

NaNoWriMo, day 14
2644 words today, my personal best for the entire month.
Tomorrow's intermediate goals are: 686 (number of words needed to reach Monday's bare minimum of 28333), 2000 (individual daily goal), 2353 (number of words needed to catch up with cumulative goal and reach Tuesday's bare minimum - 30000).
never mind.
Not going to TAI tonight. I took three benadryl over the course of thirty minutes earlier today, and it did nothing. I can't stop sneezing, snot trickles out of my nose unless I breathe through my mouth and sniffle continually, and the drip down my throat is beginning to take its toll. Either I have one heck of an allergic cold, or I have an actualfax viral cold.
Either way, I feel crappy. Send hugs.
(P.S. Japanese Pop Culture presentation went well. "Hey guys, I'm doing women and marriage in Japan. I'm going to try not to sneeze my way through this, but no promises." But I was informative.)

NaNoWriMo, day 11
Only 882 words today, but I did devote a lot of time to that paper. Tomorrow I see TAI..., and Thursday I finish the paper and start getting back on track for NaNo goals. I'm still ahead of where I absolutely need to be, and I have plenty of empty days to fill later this month.
In fact, I'm going to call it: NaNo winner on or before Thanksgiving. Feel free to point and laugh if I'm wrong.

update on school
• Presentation for Japanese Pop Culture is done. I just have to go into class tomorrow and talk for 5 minutes. Easy.
• Voudou paper, first draft: 11 or 12 pages of 15. Needs conclusion, more citations, and bibliography. Due Thursday at 4. I won't have a chance to work on it tomorrow, but I will have Thursday from 11 to a few minutes before 4, minus however long it takes me to eat lunch. (Pretty good considering I hadn't even started it this morning.)
Now for more NaNo.

NaNoWriMo, day 9
Forgot to post my word count before passing out last night.
18754 / 50000 words. 38% done!
I suspect I'm going to slow down a lot over the next few days, if not stop completely, because I have a paper to write. And on that note, I should probably go and work on the presentation that is due Wednesday, but has to be done today so my group can stick all our stuff into one powerpoint.
Also, I just got a series of spam emails with "doctor [so-and-so]" in the subject. This would be business as usual, except that one of them was not all that far off from a therapist I really did see back in high school. DNW creepy coincidence.

NaNoWriMo, day 2
And this despite visiting H&M in the morning and Franklin Park in the afternoon, and hanging out with
