  What with the recent influx of new folk to Dreamwidth (thanks, LJ!), I think it's time for a friending frenzy. I read about the whole LJ+Facebook thing last night... really not a fan =/ I kind of hate the fact that Facebook and Twitter are taking over the entire internet... every time I go to a website and see some kind of "connect to Facebook!" option, another small part of me dies inside.

(This is Courtney by the way, haha, there was a comment or two amidst this post with like 500 Dreamwidth invite codes, so I snagged one).

Yeah, I am on twitter but I don't like crossing the streams - the tweet format doesn't work well for anything but small talk and non-sequiturs. And as for facebook, they just creep me out.

They did start from the same codebase. Very helpful when it comes to the learning curve.
