I hate my knees, just for the record.
So this is what I wore to Slutbutter (where I ran into a former classmate, btw, what is my life):

It's basically the same from the back, with the zipper and the hemline. Dress by Kitchen Orange, acquired secondhand somewhere on Newbury Street, and my trusty Docs.
The dress is probably too small, technically speaking - but since I can get it on, I wore it anyway. That front zipper is pretty much all the way down, because it's so small that I can do that without worrying. If I zip it up, it flattens my boobs:

And this is what I wore to roller derby:

Dress by H&M (several years old; I think I bought it when we were still living in East Boston), shoes so old that I no longer remember who made them or where I got them. It has actual functional pockets, yay!

Yeah, those are actual working buttons down the back. They are how one gets the dress onto and off of one's body.
And this is my awesome jacket of awesome:

Jacket: Heartloom, acquired through Gomatta Girls

The hemline of the first dress is awesome. Re: the second one--is it possible to get the dress on & off by yourself? I've noticed an increased number of shirts/dresses that button up the back over the past couple of years & I always wonder how on earth people manage. Or are they things that you just can't wear if you don't have someone to help you? (I don't think I would be able to manage!)

I love both dresses! I have a red dress with white polkadots which I love, though it is very unfashionable and also I've owned it since I was in middle school.
