In other news, I really need to redo my to-do list.
Tomorrow I have to accompany Ellie to the FedEx depot to sign for her package. Because apparently woodworking tools require the signature of a 21+ person. *sigh*

Dreamwidth can once again accept credit card payments!
denise aka The Suit explains Dreamwidth's new payment thingy, points. The ability to transfer points from user to user isn't implemented yet, but
denise sounds confident that it will be in place soon, and when it is, I am going to use the shit out of it.
yvi is running an unofficial Buy-a-Bug fundraiser. You pick the unassigned bugs you most want to see implemented and pledge some points, coders pick up unassigned bugs, and you transfer the pledged points to the coder when the patch is done. Bugs aren't just things that are broken! Dreamwidth enters everything, including improvements and new features, into its bug tracker. I have already pledged 385 points (in amounts ranging from 5 points to 50 points) on 21 bugs. That sounds like a lot, but it'll only cost me $38.50.
And now I go off and write my essay on corruption in post-colonial African governments.
