sofiaviolet: candy hearts from a prescription bottle (and the blue ones help me fall)

:(

Guys. I am sick. DNW.

I suppose I should be grateful it's just a very sporadic cough and some sinus pressure and not what I had last January... on the other hand, there is probably still time for it to turn into a snotfest of epic proportions.

When I got home yesterday, I was planning to check my email and then take a nap. But instead, I sat down to reorganize all my beads and crap, and from there, I wound up making three pendants. And then ~2 hours had passed.

Then I made another one later in the evening. It doesn't match the other three at all, though. And it's also not finished.

It is probably a shitty idea to take Nyquil before class, but I am only going to take one gelcap and they come two to a blister pack. I took the other one before bed and didn't sleep any more heavily than usual. Woke up about an hour early, in fact. And the alternative is "possible coughing fit which interrupts someone else talking, me trying to sound intelligent about sociology, or Quiet Writing Time."

TRY A NETI POT. It's gross as fuck, and you might end up getting water in your ears if you do it slightly wrong, but it's really helped me so far this stupid sinus season. You can get one for like ten or fifteen bucks at CVS or something.

It's . . . basically gravity? You sort of flush the sinus passages or . . . Um.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8sDIbRAXlg <-- watch that. It's sort of done by slightly crunchy-granola people, but it's a good demonstration of what happens. I don't know how well it would work for you, but if you're tilting your head properly it should be okay.
