Our last class is on a Monday (the very last day of classes for the semester, actually), and our paper isn't due until the Friday after class ends. o_O<br /><br />I am actually leaving Boston that Friday, and going to Maryland for a long weekend. JetBlue was running a 25% sale, and even before that discount, tickets were much cheaper than they had been for Thanksgiving holiday travel. I'll be with Cory and his family from Friday the 14th to Tuesday the 18th... giving me time to recuperate from the hell semester and finish that seminar paper before I leave, and to clean my damn apartment before my parents get here for Christmas.<br /><br />I meant to have a batch of holiday cards in the mail today but I kinda failed on that. We battled - and defeated, for now - Shub-Niggurath. Also we ordered Chinese from Food Wall; I ate an entire large pepper steak and accompanying rice, and now I am sad because no leftovers. Note to self: you owe Christian $$ for dinner.<br /><br />Ellie and I aren't doing Thanksgiving, really. We had leftover chicken noodle soup for lunch (homemade from an entire chicken, so we have lots of it), and she's reheating a roast right now. Our actual celebration is going to be on Saturday at Cameryn's house with a huge chunk of our local friends. Note to self: buy vanilla ice cream, pray it will fit in Cameryn's freezer until dessert.<br /><br />I mailed the holiday cards yesterday - okay, I mailed the holiday cards to the internet yesterday. "Pissed off" is putting it lightly, especially since I pretty much have to leave work early to make it to our local post office before it closes.</p> <p>Work has been kind of meh this week. And Cory hasn't been online much for the past few days. And Ellie is too spoonless to cook. And the temperature dropped kind of suddenly. Many things contributing to my overall bleh right now. Work is freakishly quiet.</p> <p>Busy couple of days. After that, I ran into Andra and spent forever telling her about C. (she kept asking questions, and I am still flush with omgyay).</p> <p>Yesterday I got some purple dye, and this morning before work, I put it in my hair to see what it would do. Not a lot, as it turns out: my hair is too dark. Now it's even darker, with something of a blue cast to it. While kinda disappointing, it's not actually surprising, and it's definitely not a <em>bad</em> result.</p> <p>Leaving for Grand Forks at stupid o'clock Saturday morning.
