Grad school ahoy!

(Assuming, of course, that I get in. I mean, I am sure that I will! But I will also be worried about it until I actually do.)

Application to Simmons is basically done. I am letting my statement of purpose rest for a few hours. I'll read it over some time tonight, upload it, and send everything in.

My parents are going to keep supporting me through grad school, which I am enormously grateful for. Bestest parents ever!

On the subject of something that is not school-related at ALL: I have a friend who is looking for one ticket to the Boston MCR show. PM me with leads pls???

New layout on sofiaviolet. I took the Light on Dark theme for Funky Circles and made it really fucking purple.

Today's Groupon for Boston applies to classes at Bead + Fiber in the South End. Since there's totally stuff I haven't been able to figure out on my own at all.

As Ellie and I are leaving for Northampton in less than an hour (we hope), I will catch up on the interwebs later. I may or may not spend the day spamming the crap out of Twitter, and there may or may not be pictures when I get home.

In my enthusiasm for this whole enterprise, I'll be continuing the daily link roundups. I never thought I'd be that kind of blogger, but I seem to have developed the habit, even before I was doing a specific kind of link-gathering. But while link-collecting is a useful service, I also want to be making other posts, especially in the context of three_weeks_for_dw.

One thing I'd like to do is provide a new song every day!

Within the first week this song was on my ipod, it went straight to the top of the most-played list. It remains in the number one spot, with almost three times as many plays as the next song down.

blnchflr has asked me to write about unreliable narrators, although this will take a few days. (I shake my fist at the end of the semester.) I am still accepting prompts, questions, et cetera, via comment/pm/email/carrier pigeon.
