Keep me posted! I will announce my travel plans on DW also. Right now I am having the "Why does everything have to be in freaking OCTOBER" eeps. In October, there is:
* the SENG conference, which would be good for the career I don't have yet and would like to, but is also hugely expensive because they expect you to have an academic department behind you, and I don't; * the Alternative Press Expo * Stompede, which is like a GLBT country-western dancing con * OVFF, a small filk convention I often go to because I can see all my friends from Ohio, Kentucky and WV there; * Yaoi-Con * Wincon
and also, BAScon is the first weekend of November.
Somehow I have to get the entire month of October off and come up with $2-3000 between now and then.
I, ah, don't think this is going to really happen.
The SENG thing makes me sad that I will probably have to cut it, because it's in New England, and sathari will be there, and I could probably manage to hit Boston. But only if I can come up with $275 to get in, $65 or whatever for the big dinner, plane fare and whatever a hotel room costs. D: D: D:
