liv is hosting a non-fandom Dreamwidth friending meme. (Fans are not excluded from participating, but the focus is on people who are not fannish and/or who want to connect with other non-fannish Dreamwidth users. I'm going to throw my hat into the ring because, although I am in fandom, I don't actually post about it much; my fannish participation is mainly passive and tends to be in other people's journals.)
