I have a J. Crew black wool coat that I will probably wear for the rest of my life. It was $200+, but it has been incredibly worthwhile.

Mine is pretty much this coat, although last year's cut was a hair different. This one and this one are also particularly sexy. This coat is drop-dead. If I could justify it, I would own it in ember.
